About Tidy Tics

A more connected way to find support.

Tidy Tics brings together the resources that families and schools may need at different points: a supportive app, a practical book, a parent pathway and usable printables.

What this site is for

Useful, calm support before every question has been answered.

This site is for the moments in between: when a family is beginning to notice a pattern, waiting for an appointment, preparing for a school conversation or looking for a more respectful way to respond at home.

It is built around a simple principle: a child’s movements or sounds should not become a moral issue. Adults can reduce obvious barriers, protect dignity and listen to the child’s experience while seeking the appropriate professional guidance.

What this site does not do

Tidy Tics does not diagnose tic disorders, replace a clinical assessment, promise a particular referral route or give individual medical advice. If a child is in pain, at risk of injury, very distressed, experiencing a significant change or you are worried about their safety, seek appropriate professional support.
